I'm working hard on it offline, and it will be uploaded soon. It's so empty and ugly at the moment because I accidentally deleted the entire codebase and database a year ago. It'll be shiny soon, I promise. x Victoria

My sister gave me some sarong fabric for my birthday, and I've made a dress from it, following the pattern from the Japanese sewing book, Stylish Dress Book (vol 1), Dress E.

in Today...

  • Yesterday
baby had vomit and diarrhoea everywhere, it was messy business. I was super exhausted and kept dozing off as baby had been waking me up all night and woke at 5am in the morning. Thankfully Peter was very helpful.
  • Saturday, 23rd May
we went out to view a house in Witney and baby got sick all over his carseat. Poor baby.
  • Friday, 22nd May
I spent the evening reading Homebuilder's Bible by Mark Brinkley. Want to be a builder now. Or at least a homeowner. My laptop got a new SSD with the latest Mac OS finally (was using Snow Leopard!), and so I was busy getting stuff set up too.
  • Thursday, 21st May
baby seemed to be having some kind of diarrhea, and kept messing up his clothes, and almost ran out of trousers. He seemed really cute and happy though. He didn't nap at all at the nursery today, and was a little euphoric. I started reading Housebuilder's Bible in the evening.
  • Wednesday, 20th May
baby got up really early, at 4:30am. We saw another house which looked really promising (viewing it this Saturday), and were so excited we couldn't stop talking about it, and baby ended up going to bed really late again.

I guess it's expected of James Cameron to be formulaic in such a Hollywood blockbuster way. It is a Hollywood blockbuster... what was I thinking?

漢字 (kanji): a Chinese character
感じ (also kanji): feeling; sensation

I'm learning Japanese and this is where I experiment with stream-of-consiousness style essays inspired by the 漢字 that I am learning.

Here are some of the 漢字:
