I'm working hard on it offline, and it will be uploaded soon. It's so empty and ugly at the moment because I accidentally deleted the entire codebase and database a year ago. It'll be shiny soon, I promise. x Victoria

My sister gave me some sarong fabric for my birthday, and I've made a dress from it, following the pattern from the Japanese sewing book, Stylish Dress Book (vol 1), Dress E.

in Today...

  • Today
we took Owen to the cinema for the first time to watch the new Pixar film, Inside Out. He really enjoyed it and was really engrossed in it and actually sat through 1hr 42mins of it (plus ads and trailers) without much fuss!
  • Yesterday
we went out for cream tea, and Owen had a scone all to himself.
  • Saturday, 29th August
we went to our new house to do some measuring, and also to meet our supercool heating engineer and a carpenter.
  • Friday, 28th August
JP came to my work place to meet us for lunch before his move to Sheffield. It was so nice to see him again.
  • Thursday, 27th August
we met a super cool electrician and I'm now feeling less stressed about the house. Peter found it disturbing that more than once he'd heard the tradesmen used the phrase 'throwing money around' when talking to me. Oops.
