I'm working hard on it offline, and it will be uploaded soon. It's so empty and ugly at the moment because I accidentally deleted the entire codebase and database a year ago. It'll be shiny soon, I promise. x Victoria

My sister gave me some sarong fabric for my birthday, and I've made a dress from it, following the pattern from the Japanese sewing book, Stylish Dress Book (vol 1), Dress E.

in Today...

  • Yesterday
Owen woke at 5:45am, and cried for 40mins when we told him to go back to sleep. When he woke again, I took him to the toddler group, and he was very naughty, running out of the hall by himself. Later, he had a melt down in the shop for a long long time because I wouldn't/couldn't let him play with the credit card machine.
  • Sunday, 22nd May
Owen woke up at 6am, and then was so tired he dozed off during lunch. I too was very tired, and so had a quiet day at home.
  • Saturday, 21st May
Owen had a great time at our NCT group's combined birthday party for the 2yr olds. He ate 3 portions of cake, but was a very good boy. He kept saying, 'like this, like this' all the way home.
  • Friday, 20th May
Owen liked drawing so much he forgot to watch telly. In the evening I made mini pies for the party tomorrow.
  • Thursday, 19th May
Owen came home telling us he likes Little Monkeys and that he likes his friends Felix and Bella. When I told him off for something, he cried and said he felt 'sad sad'.

I guess it's expected of James Cameron to be formulaic in such a Hollywood blockbuster way. It is a Hollywood blockbuster... what was I thinking?

漢字 (kanji): a Chinese character
感じ (also kanji): feeling; sensation

I'm learning Japanese and this is where I experiment with stream-of-consiousness style essays inspired by the 漢字 that I am learning.

Here are some of the 漢字:
