Recipe:
Chicken in Chinese herbs

Ingredients: 

This is another really easy-to-cook recipe. Basically you just throw everything in a slow cooker, add water and leave it to cook.

I love cooking with Chinese herbs. They are a cheap trick for impressing non-Chinese friends. And of course, they are very tasty.

  1. Wash and drain the Chinese herbs.
  2. Put herbs and chicken into slow cooker.
  3. Add water to cover chicken. (Don't exceed max level for your cooker! I've flooded it once, it's not nice.)
  4. Cook for 5-6 hours.
  5. Add salt to taste.
  6. Serve in bowl with rice.

Serves 4 hungry grown ups.
