"Surely no one likes to be owned?"

"No, no. There are people like dogs, they like being owned, and they'd feel lost without an owner. Or there are people like cats, they like to pretend to be owned."

"So then, what about you?"

"I would like to be owned, but like a giraffe, I will never fit into anyone's home."
